Up to 8 flexE12 CS (slave units) can be controlled from a flexE12 CM (master unit) that can be assigned to any workstation. These can also be freely assigned within an assembly system. Up to 8 flexE12 CS (slave units) can be programmed or configured from a flexE12 CM (master unit) or the host computer.
The flexE12 CS (slave units) can be designed for different assembly processes. For example, it is possible to control and evaluate an electronic torque wrench. In addition, it is possible to integrate nut boxes into such a system architecture in terms of control technology.
