Concept
The STSpowertrack is a combination of a conventional transport systems and FTS/BTS. The concept guideline “cost-effective, low maintenance, flexible use for a broad range of applications”. The system can be modified and enhanced without significant effort to suit and satisfy any specific customer requirements.
Components
Essentially, the STSpowertrack consists of a track including the track-supports with levelling elements, conductor rail, guide rail and runners. These components are
pre-assembled before delivery to the customer. The desired track layout is then built on site. Future layout modifications or special solutions due to local environments and customer requests can be easily addressed.
Sledge
The sledge consists of two pivot-plates, whereby the first acts as the drive unit and the second as trailing axle. The basic frame connects the two pivot-plates. The drive is provided by a 400 V drive motor. The electrical current is supplied by a conductor rail with sliding contacts integrated in the track.
In spite of the very high dynamic forces the frequency regulation ensures that
stopping and starting is free from shocks and jolts.
Intelligent safety technology prevents collisions and guarantees the safe and trouble free application of STSpowertrack.
Just like a model railway, the track layout is completely flexible. Specific customer requirements can be adapted on site. Future layout changes can quickly and easily be implemented.
The individual components such as conductor rail, guide rail, runners and stopper are adjusted precisely to one another and provide optimum safety.
Elements like straights, curves, special curves and points can be combined as required and allow any conceivable layout.
